Naomi Bisley (she/her) responds to the silent policing of the queer online identity.
An abstraction of the intimate space we share online, Dream Girl highlights the importance of the existence of online space for queer identities and bodies. This space exists within a patriarchal structure which enables strangers to feel entitled to police us. Dream Girl acts as a response to those strangers and invites them directly into the sanctuary of a young queer woman; her body, her bed, her computer.
Naomi Bisley is an artist from Aotearoa based in Berlin.
